Super Why!

I do apologize for slacking on the blogging front since we've been back, but not much note worthy has been going on. We got back and got sick and that's about it. Fun stuff I tell ya! But today changed all that. We took our usual trip to Target (I don't think I even remember what life was like before Target!) and I broke down and bought Declan this Super Why! dress up thing that he has been wanting since we were in PA. For those of you that don't know Super Why! is a cartoon on PBS where Whyatt and the Super Readers go through a story to solve a problem. It's super cute and Declan is totally in love with this show! I didn't realize how much enjoyment my child would get out of this costume until we got home. I don't think I've laughed that hard in awhile. How did I get so blessed with such fun and dramatic kids! Thank God I did, because I think I would be insane right now!

Be careful Ian, you know what happens if you lay on the ground too long!

Super Declan attacks!

And yes, he is totally sleeping in it! I couldn't get it off of him!

Our last day...

Besides packing, trips to the post office, and laundry today has been rather uneventful. Our trip here on the other hand has been busy and really quite wonderful. I've always been very close to my family, but this trip just reminded me how blessed I am to have such a wonderfully disfunctional family! I love my family and all the crazy that goes along with it and I know they feel the same about me!

Ian and Declan got to hang out one last time with their cousins Cooper and Isaiah. They actually get along quite well for a bunch of little kids. In fact, Declan and Isaiah are often times partners in crime! I know how much my cousins meant to me growing up and I hope that my boys will be able to have an even better relationship with their cousins! Looks like they have a good start and they will definitely miss each other.

Hangin Out in "No Girls Allowed" Land

I came across these and I totally thought I had to share them! The boys loved being in the shop with Grandpa! Ian was able to spend more time out there than Declan, simply because Declan is really into touching everything! Not really a good thing when there are a lot of "don't touch" things there!

Did I mention that it was not my idea to take pictures in the Man Cave. It was totally Ian's idea and he ran and got the camera all by himself too! He's such a cutie!

And of course, I had to add one of my wonderful husband just for good measure. He sent this one to me today! I really believe I am truly blessed every time I get to talk to him! He's definitely a keeper! Love you Honey!

One last romp in the Ormsby snow!

We are finishing up our last week in Pennsylvania and to get us ready to go back to Alaska, it's been snowing non-stop for days! The boys and I have loved being able to spend time with family and friends, but we ready to go back! In fact it has been quite a thing for Ian to work the "I want to go home" sympathy card! It's only when he gets in trouble or doesn't want to eat what's for dinner or when he's tired or when he doesn't want to go to bed. OK, so it's a lot but pretty soon it will be "I want to go back to ______________(Nana's, Papa's, Grandma's, Grandpa's, or even Pennsylvania). I mean this isn't something new. Before we left for PA it was "I want to go back to Georgia!" I pray that someday he won't want to go somewhere else and there will be peace for at least a hour! : )

Regardless, we have been making the most of our time with the snow. The boys love it and so do I! Ryan's parents and Grandma have been so great to have us and I appreciate the extra help with the boys! I forgot what it was like to be able to take a nap! And being with my family has been a huge blessing in it's self! I guess you don't realize what you have until you don't see them very often! I've definitely been spoiled! Anyways, with only 5 days left here I will be trying to get as much packed in and will post when I can. Love you all!

I just love this picture! He's such a cutie and so will to get his picture taken (THANK YOU GOD!).

I took this while Ian was running through the snow. I had to pretend I was taking a picture of something else. I'm so sneaky!

So I tried to get the boys to sit together to take a nice picture and Ian decided that it was a NO GO! He pulled his hat down and that was it. Some day, I will have a nice picture of both of them TOGETHER!

Happy 2010 Everyone!

It's amazing how 2009 has passed so quickly! I didn't realize that what all the "older" people use to tell me that I should enjoy where I am because time will just fly sooner than you know it, and wow is that true! My boys are growing by leaps and bonds, we have seen several different states, had so many interesting adventures, and met an amazing group of people that I am so privileged to call friends! Here's to the new year and all it will bring (esspecially Ryan coming home!)!

Tubby Time!

Just another fun perk of being at Grandma and Grandpa's house! Giant Bubbly Tubby Time!

Playing in the snow!

We finally got some good snow to play in! Nothing like what is in Alaska right now, but at least it's something! It wasn't quite snowman making snow but the boys had fun with Grandpa pulling them in the sled and just running around outside! I'm so thankful that my boys are so outdoorsy boys! Don't get me wrong, getting them ready to go out side takes an act of God, but once they are out it's awesome!

I could not get Declan to look at the camera! Maybe he had the Ian sickness?

Grandpa and the two snow babies. Can I still call them babies? I think I might be pushing it!

PS: Snow Angels are awesome!

Did I mention that I love the after effects of playing outside in the snow!
